CSSE Exam
The CSSE Exam is designed for children looking for entry at one of the ten Grammar Schools that are part of the consortium of selective schools in Essex. The admissions process is challenging, allowing children to show their creative skills.
CSSE Exam Format:
CSSE 11 Plus Exam mainly contains two sections: English and Mathematics. The English test paper contains VR questions also. The question in the CSSE exam is a little bit challenging when compared to 11 plus independent sectors. Children need to apply their skills to clear this examination.
The final papers’ final scores are mathematically standardised and ‘weighted’, each worth 50% of the marks. Tests are not age-standardised.
CSSE Exam English Paper:
The English paper will last sixty minutes with ten minutes of additional reading time. English paper also contains the Creative Writing section.

The Mathematics paper will last sixty minutes.

CSSE exam consists of a Maths paper and an English paper.
Say in CSSE 11 results if a child gets 40 marks in English and 40 marks in Maths, then the standardised score is 321.193566
